Stiks will have to chime in on the feather shape. I just used the one he had on the burner. Will call him later and see.

The pic makes them look metallic. The purple is dye.

That feather shape is just a partial banana cut, I shaped the front of the ribbon like a banana cut and didn't bring the back down as far. It leaves the natural angle of the feather on the back.

 I think it's my favorite cut. I use it on most of my feathers.
