Working on arrows
« on: January 29, 2012, 08:09:00 PM »
I've been making up a couple dozen arrows for auction at our United Bowhunters of Missouri banquet next weekend.
Also a set of footed arrows I've been working on for quite some time for myself.
What do you guys think?

Awesome job!   How did you do your footings?   In other words, did you use a jig... In other words, I want to do a set for myself and I need ideas   ;)   !

Cookus, Yes, I have a jig that the arrow clamps in and you run a bit across it to get the v notch for the footing. This is my first attempt at footings and while they have a couple flaws, overall I am happy with the way they turned out.
I have a buddy who does it entirely by hand and does an awesome job.
