My New Bear T/D Mag
« on: February 01, 2012, 04:02:00 PM »
I just got done with my refinish project.I got the riser from Jeremy back in Dec and started to refinish it.Repainted the riser and and put the latches from black paint back to chrome.
The limbs came from FBB. They were in nice shape and only needed to be cleaned up,some touch up.
The string was made by Robert Blake. Its a B-55 string.
I just finished it up today and took it out for a few hours.besides looking like it came out of the box it shot real nice. I might just keep this one.

I have never really cared for the mag handles, but your bow has me rethinking that. That is a neat looking finish job. The black has me thinking Rambo!

Jbat73 you ever shoot at BearBrook?

elkhunter45 I never cared for them.I got it to refinish. It gives me something to do.
After shooting it I love it.It shoots where you look.
The white rug rest isn't a Bear rug rest.Someone told me about the paint rollers 1/4" molehair.I guess it's the same material Bear uses. For $3.00 I have enough rug rests for 20 bows.

I don't know the year.It has no coin. The handle is a #1R. The limbs are red tip. Maybe someone knows the year?
