shooting again
« on: February 05, 2012, 07:29:00 PM »
I haven't been able to shoot since last July due to some inury to my shoulder & or pec muscle. After 8 weeks of physical therapy,my wife & I went out stumping today. She has only been shooting for a week now because I have not been able to teach her due to my injury.I am a little sore but.....she had an absolute great time.I let her pick what she wanted to shoot at & she did well. She never knew she would like shooting a bow. Thanks to my friend ,Lee, from Keep It Simple Archery for building her a great bow.

Great! Hope your shoulder keps healing up. Don't push it too hard and reinjure it.

You are a lucky man, indeed. Not only has your injury improved, but your wife wants to share your great hobby.

I've had shoulder surgery. I had a large bone spur removed in my left AC joint.

I didn't get to shoot a bow for 6 months. Take it slow and don't rush it.
