Bobcat unless you shot the tail off a fox

I hope this isn't jumping on your thread, but here is a bobcat I caught on cam. The ears on your critter look a bit fox like to me.

Kenny,
I believe it is a fox.  The dark feet and head make me think so.  We have lots of grey fox.  I have caught several on camera hunting mice and rats eating my corn.  I know you don't have out corn but it probably is hunting rodents around the old mineral block area.

Where is this camera set up?  Is it were I missed the doe?   :banghead:

I am surprise no one said this...I thought house cat right away.  Looked again several times, still think that - tail or no tail.  Not a stretch for a cat to have lost its tail.

I don't think it is a bobcat.  Shaped didn't seem right.

Thanks for letting me play :-)

After looking hard at the ear and head profile of both the grey fox and the bobcat, I was temped to lean toward the fox. The issue is that it has a fairly thick body and appears to have a docked/short tail. Overall, I think the majority of body characteristics points to a bobcat.

I'm still thinkin bobcat, I have only seen one possible gray fox, wasn't sure, no binos that day and it was thru brush. It coulda been a bob too.

No housecat, way too big, it is probably 50-60 feet from the camera.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
