Apologies!
« on: February 22, 2012, 09:44:00 PM »
About a week ago I posted a thread that raised a few hackles. I replied to Roger Norris's post with a rude remark. I apologize to Mr. Norris for that, and anyone else I may have offended. In the future, I will sincerely try to remain neutral in all my threads/posts. I'm sorry, and it will not happen again!

Good for you. If you find the thread you can PM the member directly.

I remember the thread, if you would like the members name, shoot me a PM and I will tell you so that you may address them directly.

Takes courage to make a public appology. We all can make mistakes. Admitting when we do is sometimes much harder. Good job!

I was one of the guys who posted up on the original thread.  I am glad that you stepped back and looked at things a bit.   The be respectful thing is huge around here.  It is what makes this site the best one on the web.  Welcome to the campfire.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Did not see it myself, but way to own up. Everyone has their days, good and bad.

Good work Bill. We are usually harder on ourselves than others would be to us when we err. Looks like you are remorseful and by doing a public apology, that is really saying something.        :campfire:

Good on you Bill. I know its hard to do.

A few years ago in a thread Rob DiStefano made a statement about my input which I can tell you p***** me off. I didn’t say anything and just stepped back. Over time I came to learn that Rob’s heart is in the right place and I may have taken it wrong. The point is. If you have a rub step back and look at before posting.  It save me having to apologize

I've certainly had my moments from time to time while online so understand how one can "be out of line" once in a while.  Glad to see you apologizing and moving on.  Good Move!
