STU calculator, wood versus carbon?
« on: February 23, 2012, 10:21:00 AM »
Ok guys, I'm currently using goldtip traditonal carbons out of my new Great Northern bushbow. I found while useing the stu calculator that my bow/my shooting likes a weak shaft.
So would it be safe to try and get a wood shaft that registers about the same spine as what the Stu claculator shows for my carbons?

thank you,
Ed

Ed, you might want to contact snag (sponsor here) and get him to make you up some test arrows in a couple different spines. He sent me some and shooting them helped me determine which one I needed. I have a dozen pretty ones coming now!
