I has a Kromer that was a bit big so I put water on it by hand til damp and put it in the dryer. I pulled it out every couple minutes to test it. I got it shrunk almost perfect. It was still the slightest bit damp so I put it on my head to finish drying.It fits perfect now. It canbe done but in little increments at a time.

At worst you can take them to a tailor(at most dry cleaners) and have the waist taken in and the legs can also be taken in to.

 And wool will only shrink if its your wifes and your doing the wash, otherwise for get it.
