Anybody hunt with the Fred Eichler Axis ST 500's?
« on: February 25, 2012, 10:09:00 PM »
30" 500's with 150 gr. BH out of my #45 @ 28 Barta bow fly beautifully (my draw is 28.5").  Was wondering if this arrow is heavy enough for whitetails.
Thoughts?

Definatley. If you have good arrow flight go for it. If you are worried about pentration you could always add some weight up front.

It's all my wife uses out of her 45# @ 26" recurve. She has no problems with deer or bear.
