how old is this bear bow I got

To night I was at a buddys house and he gave me a bear k hunter numbers are 8t2911 any info would be great thanks in advance jake

first number I' got a 69

From 1965-69 only, Bear began their serial numbers with the last number of the year...hence, an "8" means 1968.  

The KH was first made in 1967 as a 58" bow and has a serial # beginning with "7".  

In 1970, the KH serial number began with a "K", but to accurately date a KH from the 70's, we need pics or more detail descriptions.

I would post some pics but as I am doing every thing froma phone I don't know how to do that it has green glass looks like rose wood riser white tips on ends I can email pics to some one if they wanna post them

Those 1968 Kodiak Hunter's are sweet shooting bows.  Very accurate and forgiving bow to shoot.  I understand Bill Stewart was key to the KH development.
