Arrow Tuning

I shoot GT5575 30" w/ 225gr tip.

I recently changed my aluminum insert and installed 50gr brass inserts. Now with the 225gr tip it is porpoising and hitting right of my target. I fixed the proposing by raising nock point. My nock point is now 7/8". Seems kinda high. But whatever reason I can't get my arrow to hit the target I am aiming at. Bareshaft the arrow hits further to the right. I lower the tip weight to 175gr so it equal to the total weight of arrow before brass Inserts(535gr). Should I go even lighter tip or should I cut the arrow to stiffen them up. I really don't want to cut the arrow unless I have to. Also, when I used 225gr tip the arrow felt front heavy. When I use 175gr w/ 50gr brass inserts it doesn't feel the same. Even thou both total arrows weigh the same. The 175gr tip seems to fly faster making me change my point of target. I am so frustrate. Can anyone help?

I would do what the arrow is telling you.  If it is flying tail left and hitting to the right of the intended spot (assuming Right handed)then I would cut the arrow a little at a time to stiffen the spine.

I have not found my Centaur to be picky on arrows at all.  Seems it will shoot anything.  I have all three of mine set to 5/16 nock and shoot a CX heritage 250's 29.25 long with 100gr brass and a 145-165 point and they are nails.  I shoot split finger though, and you didn't mention how you shoot.  Sure it wasn't a bad release day?  I have those every once in a while.  They will drive you nuts

I am a right handed shooter using 3 under method. The arrow hits right of the mark but nock is pointing straight. It is not point to the left.

Before you cut try even less tip weight 150s 125s and 100s and see if you have some correction(hitting closer to your aim spot/fletched arrows)
If you DON"T see correction IT MAY BE YOUR RELEASE. you also can build out you strike plate adding to it to correct the point right tail left(right handed).You can check out these sites for hints>>-->

I was able to tune my arrows last night thanks to you guys help. I'm still confused a bit and I hope someone can explain it to me. My previous arrow GT 5575 30" w/ 225gr tip and current arrow GT 5575 30" w/ 50gr brass insert and 175gr tip. Both arrows weigh 535gr. Why is it the one with the 175gr tip shoots higher from my point of aim then my 225gr tip? It seems the FOC has changed. How big of a difference when you use a front weight tip compare to using inserts? I am going crazy trying to figure this out.

Just mix the arrows and shoot(try not to notice what ones you're shooting till you check the target). You may find it's you. If you DO find a diffence then go with the one YOU find to be more accurate & consistent. I shoot 291/4 carbon half with 175 tips and 50 grn insert the other half w 100grn insert and 125 pnts I can't tell any flight or target diffence.

What bldtrailer said.  If you are on the right track, rejoice...you have options!  Prove it with lighter heads. If you see improvement and want heavier heads,  then you can cut(small increments, i.e. 1/8th inch). If you don't see improvement, something else is going on.
