Bow for new to trad guys
« on: March 04, 2012, 09:08:00 AM »
I have been incredibly blessed in my life and I am able to get just about any bow I wish. I want to pass this blessing on. I have a 62" amo 55# @ 28" Bacote and Texas Ebony Charlie Lamb recurve I want to give to a struggling new comer who needs a good bow. Charlie makes incredible bows. I have one of his longbows too. I do not shoot this recurve as much because I shoot longbows better so that is why I am doing this. This beautiful bow needs to be shot and used to kill something. It is a one piece bow.

If you are new to our lifestyle or you know someone who needs a good bow to start out or someone you think deserves this bow, post here and I will draw a name on Wed March 7th for the winner.
"Then Peter said unto them. Repent all of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38

It's not for me, but my son would like to get into trad archery and is just getting started working (just graduated from college) so he doesn't have much money right now. He currently shoots a wheelie bow I gave him because I didn't use it anymore but loves shooting my trad bow.  His name is Matthew Trahan.

You can PM me for his address if he is selected and I would also gladly pay for shipping to help him.  Don't know where you are in Texas, but he recently moved to Houston for his job and he may also be able to pick it up.

Great gesture
