Finished my ACS CX Snake skin Limbs!!
« on: March 06, 2012, 03:40:00 PM »
These Are canebrake rattler skins.

I want to first thank every one for their help. This project was much easier than I expected. I was freaking out about doing this to 900.00 dollar limbs.    :scared:

“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

What was the color of glass, on the limbs? Looks like a job well done.

See, It was very easy. Do you have any scraps? you now can make a snake skin arrow. Pretty much the same thing except just clear it.

They look great!

It is pretty scary taking sand paper to those limbs for the first time. Now you know it is possible!!

My second pare of of ACS limbs will have eastern diamond back.  :)

I have a bunch of scarps. I figured I would put them on my Slim Jim bow quiver.
