No problem with Woodsmans in the 4 arrow on either. I have both.

Here's the best pic I have of the EFA.  Pretty lightweight and out of the way which was my biggest concern.  I haven't tried the Kanati, so I can't comment on it.  Just thought the photo might be useful in your decision.

It's interesting to read the different opinions. The differences that I see and hear about our (EFA) quiver versus others is that our "EFA" quivers are lighter weight and fit solid to the bow. Also, they don't alter how your bow shoots in a negative way, and in some cases will make the bow quieter.

Our goal early on in our beginning was to make a lightweight quiver that had no noticable effect on how the bow felt in hand or how it shot. There seemed to be nothing on the market like that. We were able to make that product as represented by our 3 and 4 arrow quivers. Since then we have made several improvements and added to our product line.

Some of the things we have added in addition to the "talon" limb wrap system is the limb bolt and side mount systems. New products also included the "totem" system which connects the hood and arrow gripper assemblies in a innovative design, and the "wing" which is a rock solid setback feature.

We will soon be coming out with more new products that we're working on. With ideas from many of you we continue to develop new products and improve old ones.

I'm having a problem with downloading photos right now but if you will look at a thread running on this site about a "EFA Photo Contest", you can see some of the "EFA" products. I believe there's one near the beginning showing a "Shrew" bow with an EFA quiver.

Don,

How much does the 4 arrow quiver weigh? And with the totem and wing setback?

I picked up one of the Kanati Angle Pro quivers at Tanneyhill, I haven't bought a bow quiver in a long time and was amazed at how they have improved over the years. I can only speak for the Kanati but the materials used are first class, design is very well thought out, everything you need and nothing you dont. I really liked how the quiver fastened to the bow, easy on and off and absolutely no noise. I didn't catch the names of the guys in the booth as there were lots of people around, but both were very nice and took the time to answer my questions. I,m sure both quivers are very nice, but you sure can't go wrong with a Kanati. I've been shooting bows for a very long time and this is the best made quiver I have ever seen. RW

For what it's worth I have two EFA velcro strap ons and one Kanati Pro.

I just ordered the Kanati for an upcoming elk hunt and to possibly use during turkey season. I wanted it to shoot like a more permanently mounted quiver but to offer quick release without the noise of velcro. And I wanted it to do that without having two separate pieces. I've only had it for a day or two but it mounted up easy and shoots very solid...and quiet. It does weight a little more than a two piece EFA, but not enough on my stalker 3 piece to matter to me. As others have said it is very well built. And John has been great at answering emails or phone calls. I never had cause to contact EFA although I'm willing to bet they would be just as responsive.

I have never used the EFA with the totem so I cannot comment on it. The regular EFA worked great although I did have my arrows come loose after a shooting session. However, it was not enough to cause me concern for my typical treestand hunting around home where the bow generally hangs until I need it.

Also the angled mount of the Kanati allows me to carry my bow by the handle (string down) without my hand hitting the arrows. Personal tick but I really like that.

On final comment on the Kanati...after I shot it some yesterday I apparently didn't hang it correctly on my bow hook (I know, not paying attention) and my bow feel off the hook and landed in a metal trash can like a rim shot basketball. The quiver and the arrows never moved...and that includes the side kick clips with a judo. Unintentional test but it was nice to see it passed perfectly.

Although the finish on my stalker now has some character marks.

As I owned the EFAs already, a big reason I tried the Kanati was just to try something different. I'm very pleased with it so far.

Matt L.

Great pics. I might have to borrow those also. I have not had much time to snap pics since the new model quivers have come out.

Keep a watch on our web site folks....new toys soon.

Thanks for the nice thoughts everyone.

I have a Kanati Angle on my Centaur and would not change for anything. Solid, quiet, perfect angle to the arrows, easy on and off, I don not know how you could improve on that design. Just my opinion but I believe best on the market.
May your arrow always fly true and your hunt be an adventure.

I have several Kanati Kwivers on a few bows. I believe that you would be pleased with any of their models. If you want the option of removing the kwiver while hunting you'll like the ease of the new mounting system it is very user friendly, rock solid and quiet (both off and on). A nice bow like your Centaur deserves a nice kwiver on it give the Kanati a try I know you'll be happy you did.

The start of a project with a Kanati.

I worked out a trade with Snag and he will be building me a set of green arrows for it. Green Razorheads will be mounted on them. The green Kodiak Hunter was my dream bow when I was a kid.

I ordered a custom fit Kanati Angle Pro for a Kodiak TD from John this morning. I'll get better pics of both up in the future.

I have the Eagle Flight quivers, they are light durable and quiet. Don is great to work with. John makes a good quiver also and is good to work with. Pick the one you like they both will work great.LCH

I have had at least four of Joh'ns quivers and my latest the Slim Jim Sidemount addresses the ability to remove from the bow and stay together really well.It also rides really well and stows in any arrow box or bow bag sleeve, also really good in the pickup ,straight onto the widow and balances right.
John is a class act and always true to his word and his products are tops.

Both are well made..
Go with a one piece arrangement on either..
The totem is adjustable, and I easily converted my Kanati to a one piece the same way.
EFA is lighter if that's a concern.
If Kanati has upgraded straps from rubber that's a good thing.
Easy on/easy off..I still like my German Ridge!!
