How much past 190g up front, have people been successful with wood arrows?
190's look pretty decent. Any luck with 225-300g ??

I have never tried heavy weights on wood arrows. I mainly shoot carbon and haven't shot a wood arrow in a couple years. I know that Tuffhead makes their broadhead in a 225 and 300 grain version. I believe if you shot a correctly spined arrow for this much weight up front it would fly fine. It will probably just be one Heavy arrow.

190 is the biggest glue-on point I've seen. Got some 200 grizzly's coming. I really see no need in going heavier than that, with a stout wood shaft you'll be carrying some serious weight. I like 160-200g on the front, what ever tunes up, no particular FOC % or goal, I just like a heavier front end.

Woody weights are a good idea but the diameter is too small, even a 11/32 shaft with the finish is a tad bigger diameter than the WW. If they made them bigger I wood use them more.
