Centaur "Dark Matter"
« on: March 18, 2012, 08:16:00 PM »
Finally got my new Centaur "Dark Matter" Triple Carbon Elite set up.  This is a 60" bow. I have a regular Bacote risered 62" Triple C that feels like a feather after holding this one. The Dark Matter I'd say compares to a metal risered bow without the metal, STABLE and Quick, and QUIET!Here she is. My all black critter killing bow. I love black bows!

What is the riser made of?  Are the limbs bamboo core?

I like that bow!

Very cool set-up with the black quiver and black arrows to go with it, too.

If you like mass in your riser it did. I struggle with my regular elite it is so light in the hand after shooting the Matter bow. It feels like a feather in the hand!

Have you weigh both bows? What are the weight difference? Do you feel the extra weight will be too heavy to carry around when hunting?

Approximately 28 oz's total for the Dark Matter.

The standards are approximately 21 oz's.
