I'm taking my 6 year old nephew stump shooting today. Ought to be fun. Pacing up the family for a picnic in the woods. My wife will read and I will shoot stumps. Don't get much better than that. Turkey seasons still 3 weeks out here can't
weight.
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

I get to go shooting today, too!
I am going to the club, where I will fire up the wood stove and work on some arrows... all of a sudden I need some.

Then a couple of TG'ers are coming out to shoot in the afternoon. Gonna be slickery out on the range!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Ken thanks for the invite this morning. I had a good time scouting and shooting with you and Tim. Stop telling people that there are turkeys on that mountain - I didn't notice any sign....LOL

Tim it was nice to meet you - i look forward to hunting with you sometime.

Charlie - If there is only one Turkey on the mountain then he has a SERIOUS bowl movement problem because there are fresh LARGE droppings everywhere!  :D
