OK I forgot to introduce myself! I have heard of TG for quite a few years. Since I was loyal to my wheelie bow there was no reason to join. My cousin is Legends Bows. He actually made me my first recurve I think in 2006. Probably pretty upset that I never took to it.
Put him through it on choosing my wood(picky). So here we go again "will you make me another bow with orange wood?" For sure this was a feat for him to find the brightest orange wood on earth. It is gorgeous! It is a Tornado made of orange padauk/ grey action wood 47# @ 27.5". I think he finished it shortly before September. We had been shooting for about a week. So the gang convinces me to shoot some tournaments. Reluctantly I go.... and have a blast! So far have shot 3 and can't wait for the next one. Also seeing all the guys I used to see at the bow shop is nice to. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I really enjoy making things out of the furs which goes better with trad shooting. I might just have to post a picture of the quiver I made. Turned out pretty cool! That's all for now!
