Leon Stewart

I stopped by Leon's yesterday and ordered a couple bows. While there he showed me a couple bows going out to customers. These bows are drop dead gorgeous, limb veneer inlays and all types of custom craftsmanship. I you have not had the pleasure of shooting one of Leon's bows take the time to try one out. He is a top notch Bowyer and a Great friend. Be sure to take some dog treats if you stop by Ole Carbon(Lab) looks hungry.LOL Check out his Website or give him a call.

For sure one of the best longbows out there. It has been my go to longbow and you will not find a better bowyer who puts customer satisfaction first and formost. Like Ed said check out his site and if you are interested in a stock bow give him a call directly. Tom

I have bought three bows from Leon, and I usually visit him first at the Baltimore shoot. I gave one (a Slammer) to my husband, and have a matching Slammer and a BAS.

I cannot say enough about the solid performance and the craftsmanship in Mr. Stewart's bows. Whoever is making his strings is very good at it, too.

Leon is a great guy and makes a great product.  Everyone has their own preferences, but I think that the grip on his slammer series bows is the best out there.

I have shot 2 of his bows and liked them both very much.

I would order one of his bows if I was in the market.

My go to bow is a three piece slammer, it's a functional work of art.

Leon makes one of the finest available. I have had his recurve and his longbow. They are shooters and lookers.

I'm a recurve guy- have been for 40 years, but I got this bug to try a longbow.  I went through a few of them and couldn't shoot any of them worth a darn.  I happened upon Leon's booth at the Baltimore shoot several years ago and picked up one of his takedown Slammers.  It was so nice I had to have one.  I bought one used off the classifieds here and then traded a Bob Lee stick for another off here.  They are the only longbow that I own and the only one I can really shoot.  I took my only deer last year with one.  Leon is a true gentleman and a heck of a craftsman.  I don't brag about a lot of bows, but I will brag about his because they are that good.  ...but don't let everyone else know, because it lets us that do pick up some great deals in the classifieds!

He makes a great double shelf TD slammer longbow,
really cool to see how it works both shelfs on the same side, just slides arrow down and swithch hands.  BAM  super guy to deal with.

Just had my slammer out today, came in and said to my wife "I love this bow" She has heard that weekly for 2 yrs now and she may do harm to Leon if she ever meets him!
Cannot say enough about how much I like his work and how he does business. Just do yourself a favor and try one at one of the shoots ... then stand back and watch the plastic fly out of your wallet...you will not be sorry!
