turkey vests
« on: April 06, 2012, 06:58:00 AM »
My old vest has long but been dead......been looking hard at the tater II or maybe the tater II.   I typically unclip and take my arms out when I'm bush whacking.

Anyone else use this vest or any others?  I dont like the primos vest...pockets are nice, pad is terrible.

I'm not much of a blind guy, though I might pick up the darkhorse this spring and give it a go again.  It's awful tough to pack all over the place and has no use for me in Alaska.     I guess the vest doesnt either but its definatly more justifiable.

anyways....any input on a good  general turkey vest.....

I used a Ribz front pack for my rabbit season.  Carries a lot and does not interfere with my shooting.  Leaves your back free for a pack or blind
Cast a long shadow-you may provide shade to someone who needs it.  Semper Fi
