Trying Wood Arrows
«

After hearing so much about wood arrows I thought I'd give them a try. Wow-was I surprised! So smooth and they shot beautifully out of my Black Widow. I have been using GT 3555, which you most know are carbon arrows. I got a hold of David from 'Wilderness Custom Arrows' and he made up some test arrows for me and they shot excellent right out of the box! I will continue to experiment and make a decision about these arrows. I sure didn't expect this to happen! So it is good to keep an open mind about your equipment and try new things. This is what keeps the excitement going! What do you guys/gals think? Thanks.

I've shot carbon since 2003, went to wood last winter on a whim, really like em, much easier for me to tune!

I never liked the way other materials felt, wood feels natural.

I love the looks of wood, and everything that can be done with it. You made a very wise choice going to wood. To me, it just feels right.

I've been shooting wood for about 50 years. Maybe one of these days, I'll try carbons.
