1st Custom Bow "Striker"

Waiting on my first custom bow and it is no fun. I should be getting a striker stinger takedown in the next few weeks and cant wait. Met the bowyer at a hunt show in January and ordered one on the spot. I am new to trad and he let me shoot 3 or 4 different models and gave some good pointers. He was super nice and patient. I will post some pics when I receive it.

He said 12-16 weeks when I ordered, looks like some guys on here are waiting up to a year. What bow are you waiting on Rooster?

Waiting is indeed tough.  Those Strikers look like nice bows.

One company I've bought a couple bows from let's you know when the bow is shipped.  But they ship by the absolute slowest way possible.  Thank goodness this isn't the norm - most fellows ship their bows to be received in just a couple of days!

your going to loves ricks bows, he is a awesome boyer and good person, just dont tell him i said that about him. i own 3 striker stingers 1 piece, wife owns 1, and 14 y/o daughter is expecting delivery anyday on her   stinger. you wont regret it

I am waiting on a Sierra Blanca Bow. It should be done in June or July.

My SaukTrailArchery Spirit recurve shipped today, should get it tuesday or wednesday next week. Its old school 50's style, no glass, bamboo, carbon ect. just wood like back in the day, cant wait !
