Thanks again for all the suggestions, guys.

old_goat2, PM sent.

Mick, Rainer will be here tomorrow, so we can talk about it. I'm considering sending him off with the full length GTBG200KPs with a minimal footer and let him try trimming to length.  50/50 shot maybe.  Stu's calc says it will work, and old_goat2 is gonna try to help. They'd weigh 800 before trimming...

Yote at Robertson could not recommend a shaft due to not much real-world experience at this draw weight/arrow weight.  It was refreshing to get honesty instead of posturing from a bow company tech/bowyer.   He did say it was a center-shot recurve so that may help.  Anybody know a center-shot recurve that is in Stu's calc?

As already stated the Easton FMJ Dangerous Game shaft is your best bet period. I spent two years working on Buff arrows, tried em all, got couple thousand $$ in shafts to prove it and for me the FMJ was #1 all way around.
