Cupid's Bow
« on: April 23, 2012, 07:24:00 PM »
On Valentines Day my awesome wife told me that cupid was getting a new bow!  She had me order anyone I wanted, any design and any wood selection.  I had Maddog Archery build me an Osage and Bamboo under clear glass.  Now the waiting began.  Ten weeks later; today I ran my best 5.2 miles 48:10, got my new Traditional Bowhunter magazine in the mail and what is setting against the front door but Cupid’s bow!!!  It looks better than I could have imagined, smooth, sleek, fast and quiet!  I again need to thank my incredible wife for getting me this gift.  I love you!

Also a big thanks to Mike at Maddog Archery... she looks great!!!

Having some issues posting the pictures but I’ll keep trying.  Got them on facebook and photobucket  but cannot seem to upload them the Trad.gang.

Do you think if we introduced your wife to my wife she would influence my wife to be as agreeable as your wife?  Lucky guy!

By the way, this is the second time she has gotten me a bow.  When I retired from the Air Force, she got me a Mathews DXT.  At our first duty station, she worked at the Rod and Gun club and got me a shotgun and pistol.  Last week she decided she did not liked her Honda CRV anymore, so she now drives the Nissan Pro 4X and I traded her Honda in on a used FJ.  What more could a man want!  She keeps me on my toes!!!
