Ben Pearson 960 Colt
« on: April 29, 2012, 03:55:00 PM »
I bought this Pearson 960 Colt for my wife to have a bow to shoot, and she just is not getting into it so I really did not want the poor guy sitting around unloved so I arrowed it up and away I shot.  32#@26" 60" lenght.  Oh it is wonderful.  I believe it is a semi-recurve, with the longbow slight locator grip handle. This bow is sweet.  So now  is my question. Where can i find one for myself? I have looked all over but the Colt name is like 10 different models, shapes and designs.  Some look like Kodiaks, some Grizzlys, but I have yet to find another semi-recurve. Pics to follow.

It is light as a feather i can tell you that.  Honestly, thats the bow that made me want to try a longbow. I had a recurve and was happy with recurves, was actually looking to get a  Super K. Then i start shooting this little squirt with the thin  low wrist handle and it just felt better to me.  I will post once my longbow I just bought arrives.  It would be nice to get a good deal on one.

Only problem so far is the other ones I have found have all been 35lbs and under and im beginning to think that it was an entry level/low poundage bow.
