Had a great time.  Thanks to Doc, Graybeard, Monkeyball and his lady, Joe, John, Jeff, Allie and Cody.  It's always great to shoot with young folk = they have so much enthusiasm and both Allie and Cody can really shoot.

Some of the distances were admittedly a challenge, but given that they were made of foam rubber I guess I missed the ethical issue.

BTW, Allie is left-handed and was tearing up those targets.

Jerry,

No argument about a challenge. It was. It just makes it that much more enjoyable if I shoot in situations like I would find in the field. I am not about shooting animals in the chest. When I see ~50% of shots in a 3D course being further then 20 yards, I get the feeling the course was set up by compound shooters. I could not put my foot on a stake, cant my bow and take a shot because I am left handed. It was happening more often then I liked. You have got to love rocks!!!! (:

I am one guy with an opinion. Sometimes is the not the same as others.

I wish I could have met you. We did see Doc on his way out.

Maybe next time.

Martin

wow, that looks like fun! Wish there was a place around here that was large enough for archery golf, that looks like a lot of fun.

My friend and I were there on Friday and had a great time as usual. It was so windy in the morning on the practice range that we didn't even warm up, we just went out on the course. We moved up a bit closer on a few of the targets until we got our confidence up but after a few targets we were in the groove and shooting from the markers the rest of the day. A good day out.

My first time and I enjoyed the courses and the hospitality of all who I met. Just a great time and fun shoot for sure.
Highlight of the trip was the opportunity to shoot a very rare Bear TD. It had 45 lb. No. 1 limbs and I have never shot a recurve that was as quiet and as fast as this one, truly an experience.

Hey, I see Joe and Pete in that pic.  I really loved going to that shoot when I was in the area.
