He is an artist to say the least. I haven't even opened up the rest of the box to view the limbs..I'll get some additional pics up later tonight.

Looking forward to the pics.  I think the only thing keeping me from owning a Dye is the long riser.  I wish it was shorter than the 19" or whatever it is now.

A few years back a friend of mine who is a boiler maker and so was his older brother were always asking the fellas they work with if they had any old bows they wanted to sell that they would buy them...My friends brother said to me "Look at this bow I just got" and as I was looking at it He said I ain't never heard of Dale Dye have you? I said Yes I have and you have a bow that not many will sell..He said I only paid $65.00 for it cause the fella needed some money...I remember the name on that 1 piece bow was custom for a fella named "Tom Sawyer"...Any one know him? The bow was a 1 piece that I remember...Keefers<><   YEP $65.00  :readit:

Here's a photo I shot a few months ago of Rob Tiberio's Dale Dye and some info he gave me about the it:

"I purchased the African Blackwood for the handle . . . same material that is used for clarinets.  It has a Blood Wood Stripe . . . the glass is gray which I bought from Mike Fedora.

It is a 58" custom bow, 55# I added my wool quiver. Dale Built for me in 1999. The bow is named Raven after my black  cat.
The wool jacket is called Pie Bald and will be available sometime down the road."

I almost had it as a trade about 8 years ago for my tree stand but he wised up and knew he had a great bow...I asked his brother a few months ago if he still had that bow and he said Yes! Thats the cheapest I ever seen one go for.  :D

Gary....I like the color of that African Blackwood....I think a Bocote stripe in the middle with some red/yellow Medicince Points would do the trick...I like the shirt also  :)
