2012 Compton Vendor list??? Looking for a ghillie
« on: May 08, 2012, 05:09:00 PM »
Does anyone have a list of vendors who will be at the 2012 Compton shoot this coming June?

I'm in the market for a Rancho Safari ghillie long coat, just wanting to see if any one will be at Compton and have what I'm looking for available, or just maybe someone might read this and decide they have a used one sitting around that they don't use and would like to sell it to me.

I only know of JP Enterprises and TW Arrows right now.  I may be setting up with TW Arrows with some 8190 strings and a new endeavor I've recently gotten into.

Don't ever remember Rancho Safari being there.  Were some other vendors selling leafy/ghillie suits in years past.

I've only been twice, but I didn't see Rancho Safari there either.  Did they get back up and running?

Kustom King is usually set up with their store, 3-Rivers has a booth but mostly gives out catalogs and offers free shipping...if it helps, 3 Rivers offers several ghillie options...short jacket, pants, face mask, long coat, even camo knee pads and a shaggie blind panel.

Seems there is usually a vendor(s) carrying ghillies though. Just can't remember who they are.   :dunno:

BIG Jim has some and I think Scott at Huntmore might have a poncho type. Prolly a few others.

The 2nd hardest part of the whole process is having to lay in bed for 2 weeks.  Leg/foot must be elevated all day and night.  I snuck out to attend the MLA spring shoot last weekend and got around by wheelchair, but I'm not one to just do nothing.  I have caught up on a lot of back logged reading I needed to get done though.  I say 2nd hardest, because as soon as this is healed (another month), if the Doc allows, I'm going to go thru the whole process again with my right side.  It'll be 2 weeks prior to Compton, so you just might see me rolling around in the chair there as well.

Thank you for asking Chuck.

When your wheeling around Mike stop by and shoot the bull with me  :)  Oh and bring some of your arrows so I can see them in person! Let me know if you need any dvd's or reading material.
