Saint Jude Auction Question

Not sure about how to get the Onestringer offer on the gift certificates and the Hog Hunt Chances? Do you have to wait till auction dates or can you start making donations now? Sorry if it was posted else where, didn't see it.

Glenn, nothing can be bid on until the auction begins. Once it begins you can bid on anything until that forum ends. Bids cannot be retracted so make sure you bid correctly.

Ok, but how bout things that aren't bid on. like a ticket for chance? Anybody who puts the asked for amount gets a golden ticket? Gift certificates? There are I think 4 listed, is that first come first serve? Don't want to make this hard, but just wasn't sure. I need some things from them anyhow and thought this would be a great oppurtunity to help a great cause!

I think Rizzy has it nailed that nothing can be bid (or monies sent???) on till the auction opens... but unlike years past, at least what is published under the RULES on the Item Posting Thread on the big yellow banner site is that ALL the auctions open on May 20th...but they close on different days:

ALL Bid forums will open SUNDAY May 20th at 8 PM Easern.

CLOSE DATES Bid Forums 1 - 5 :

Forum 1 May 30th - close at 10 PM Eastern Standard
Forum 2 May 31st - close at 10 PM Eastern Standard
Forum 3 June 1st - close at 10 PM Eastern Standard
Forum 4 June 2nd - close at 10 PM Eastern Standard
Forum 5 June 3rd - close at 10 PM Eastern Standard

I don't know about the hog hunt, but last year with Onestringer, I just posted on the thread how many gift certificates I wanted.  Then after the forum closed, I paid St.Judes and Onestringer sent me a gift certificate in the mail.  Hope that helps.

So if 40 people want a $25.00 gift certificate Onestringer's going to give away a grand worth of wraps? He's a great guy and everything but I doubt that he's crazy.
