Bow for my daughter to learn on
« on: May 23, 2012, 10:19:00 PM »
Hello all,  I'm brand new here and a complete newbie to bows. I just received my first bow and am about to embark on the journey down the road.  I was quite happy today when my daughter got excited about an old bow she found at an antique store.  Actually I was thrilled!!  I need to know if this is the kind of bow that would be good for her to learn on.  Is is an old Bear Green Bow....60"/25#.  I'm sure many of you are familiar with them.  So, what do you think.  She seems to be able to handle it and, again, she is excited about it....she has not put it down yet...and I think that would make her even more excited about learning.  She's 8 yrs old!
Love the forum. Been lurking and learning.
Thank you.

I think it would be a good bow for your daughter to learn on.
