I would like some feedback on the Bear Montana Longbow. Anyone have one?

I have been shooting a 55# Montana for about a year and a half. I like it a lot , I have no comlaints.

Good bow, esp. for the price - there was a notable "thump" to mine but its a pretty straight limbed longbow so I didn't expect anything less.  I enjoyed it and have thought of buying another.

I had one a few years ago. They are good bows. You can usually pick up a used one either from here or from auction sites for around $200.

They're a great bow. That was my first longbow & I passed it on to a friend of mine and it's his first longbow.  It's a great shooter & very smooth.
