Bear's Paw Bows
«

Does anyone shoot these, and can you give me some of your thoughts on them? I just went and visited his website, and really like the looks (and price) of his takedown longbows. Was wondering how they shoot, quality, etc.
Thanks,
brack

I have two of Neil's bows. One is a TD longbow, the other a 56" TD recurve.
The TD longbow is deadly quiet and fast. Good grip for me and great craftsmanship. The bow fits me very well.
The little TD recurve is as well made and performs as well as the longbow. I do shoot the longbow a little better for whatever reason.

Neil is a close friend and hunting partner of mine. He is a solid guy and an excellent bowyer. His work is great. His bows are everything you would want. Smooth. Fast. Accurate. Beautiful and in my opinion...Under priced! I currently shoot a new proto-type longbow he made me but I also shoot his recurves. He makes a lil'56" recurve that is amazing.
I highly recommend the Bears Paw bows.
Good luck, Peter

Neil is one of the finest, out there to deal with! I have one of his 58" longbows, and just ordered a 60". By far, some real eye candy
, and they shoot too! The price is hard to beat for the bow that you will get.
As Peter said, I highly recommend Bear's Paw Bows!

I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!
My good friend Rudy Bonser, while hunting elk up Indian Creek.

I also own one of Neil's TD Lightspeed Recurves and love it, I'm waiting on a TD longbow as well. One of the BEST looking and shooting bows I've owned and I've almost owned them all! As mentioned already Neil is just a great person. I also highly recommend Bears Paw bows.
