I should also add my Double Bull Blinds. Treestands in cold weather are getting to be challenging for this old buck. The blinds solve a number of "problems" for me.

I would say my Waldrop pac seat. That would have to be some of the best money I've ever spent. Awesome seat for a ground hunter!

Ghillie suit.   Never been a big fan of pop up blinds.  At 62, I am not climbing trees like I used to.  The Ghillie lets me stay on the ground, be more mobile.

Every thing and anything I have purchased that involves traditional archery (which is not a lot yet)has been the most important at the time I bought it.  Thus the reason I bought it (and due to money considerations).  Everything seems to build my confidence and makes me that much better of an archer.

My new Left Hand Fedora recurve. Due to right shoulder problems that will lead to surgery, I had to learn to shoot lefty.

Feel very confident now shooting both ways but it's nice to know I can still hunt if the right shoulder gives me problems. Surgery is still one year away.

Good jewelry for the Mrs. always pays off.

Every time I pass through Steamboat Springs, a certain jewelry store gets a chunk of my money. It has done more for getting me return trips to that part of Colorado than anything else I can think of.   ;)

x whatever number we're on

My wife got a full carat diamond ring for our 5th anniversary. She was so elated with it.  Well, yesterday I got a 'short' long tube in the mail from Ron LaClair.  In it was a 56" Classic Hunter Carbon with "Ray Lyon Anniversary Bow" inscribed on it.  A 'little' bling for the ladies goes a long way in the woods gentleman.....  :clapper:

Garmin 60csx gps unit.  Still carry a compass for backup, but for getting in quiet in the dark the gps can't be beat.

Swarovski binos would be the second.
