If you've ever thought of using a limb saw to cut a small osage log for staves....go back to bed and dream of something PLEASANT!! lol

I just had to get out of the house today (cabin fever) so I decided to go get a piece of osage from a bulldozed pile not far from the house. Well the chainsaw HAS to have a new chain so I thought, what the heck, I'll just pick a smaller log, and use the limb saw. HA!  It only took me about 30 mins to find a decent looking candidate. It took another 2hrs to get both cuts made with the saw. But what the heck, I've got a workable piece of 'sage! Now if I can keep from ruining this one like I did the first one I tried.....

LOL!  Yep, done it before.  A good chainsaw is like gold when cutting osage.

Now I know Rusty has cut more than a few sucker bows with a limb saw. I believe he said to lube/clean the blade with a little kerosene as you go.
