You're thoughts on bamboo to other material

This may have been covered before but I don't want to make a big mistake. I am shooting bows from 44@28" to 52@28". I find that 45 to 50 wood and either 1535 or 3555 carbons work depending on the point weight and length. I am thinking of getting a 100 bamboo shafts from China. I am thinking 45 to 50 spine but don't want to end up with 160.00 worth of tomato stakes :D . How do bamboo spine relate to wood and carbon. Thanks, Don

I find them more forgiving in the tuning department.

With bamboo i had the experience that shafts of the same spine dont matter as much as shafts of the same weight.

I have yet to shoot bamboo, but I seriously intend to (making an order shortly) From what i've read, spine isn't that critical (note the above statements)

Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!
