Best Trail Camera Settings???

Hi Guys,

I received a Primos trail camera for Father's Day.  I'm excited to set it up and hopefully get pics of the fawns and baby raccoons I have running around on the property, but I have no idea what the best settings are.  I have a choice of how many pictures I want it to take in a row when it is triggered, and how long I want the camera to wait in between shots.  the default setting is one picture a minute.  My concern is that if a critter is walking by and a photo is taken as soon as it trips the sensor I may only get a head shot, and a minute later it will be long gone.  So, those of you with a a lot of experience, what settings have you found give you the best results.  I'm probably going to set it up along mowed foot trails I have on my property that all the ctitters seem to use as well.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Set it to as many as it will take and the delay the least possible. When I happen to get multiple picts of a buck sometimes the first pic is blurry from movement or the angle is bad to see his entire rack. Let 'em fly...that's the beauty of digital photos you just delete the ones you don't want.

Only downside is the batteries only have so many picts in them so the more it takes the quicker they will drain.

try setting your camera so that the critters are walking toward and away from the camera instead of just across the front of it, if they are moving slow you can get multiple pics.
