Serious addiction?
« on: June 17, 2012, 05:43:00 PM »
I have played online war games and was a member of several online gaming communities. All of them complained that it would be months before I even checked the forums with tactics, whatever. I came to this forum and I check it every damn hour almost.... this is craaaaaaaaaaaaazyyyyyyyyyy!!!
I'm making a self bow as well and spent this afternoon hacking at it with my axe since I want to become proficient at making them in the woods. I broke three already and kinda feel this one is going the same way... and then I read the thread on self bows and elk...I'm going mad with this!!! And I can't even hunt with bow in the UK! I hunt in my dreams every single damn night..the genes finally worked their way into taking over! I even have as the only reason to go back to Portugal, the fact that I can hunt with a bow there...

You can hunt deer, wild bor and a few other species that I am not fully aware of which ones they are. Me and my wife were recently thinking of going back to Portugal and I was looking for hunting regulation and prices for licences and stuff. This place is a very old place and has regulated hunting seasons. I was pleased to find that bowhunting is allowed although there is only about 10 hunters doing it (Portuguese I mean). I'll leave the link so you guys can check it.

Ah, I joined this group as well and you will see that it is only a hand full of people doing it. let me see if I can get the link..

there:

I don't know any of these hunters personally and I have joined the forum a while ago. All is in Portuguese so I don't know if you guys can use translator or something. If you need any translating done just let me know. There's at least 6 other places to hunt as well but I haven't had the time to look it through. I'll do it later today. Son has chicken pox and the wife is giving me the evil eye already so I have to go now.. laters!

I guess so! I can ask them if you want me to. I reckon you would only need to pay the permit at the city council.Ah, no I think you need to take the course about the species blah, blah...I'll ring them tomorrow because I want to know as well.

Just kidding Miguel. If it cost a dollar to go around the world, I couldn't go down the street! You have a good time & post plenty of pix.
