Couple of summer projects
« on: June 21, 2012, 11:17:00 AM »
Well this ok feller stopped by and gave me  bear 76er so I wanted to make a bow fishin rig out of it, got to wantin smthn wild this is what I came up with

Then I got a nice skinner from our buddy MUDD and had an extra piece of copperhead skin, this happened lol

Then on my weekly toy store trip I talked my way out of  a 40$ remote car and a video game and got em to bite on a couple of flips! Man they love these things

Just wanted to share with u guys

I figured the knife would be a hit lol... I did it just as i would a bow.. sanded down a lil bit then covered it in a thin layer of TB3, soaked the skin in a lil water and applied....smooth out everything and hit it with 5 coats of spray on clear coat... i think it came out pretty good...
