Zipper Nitro ... Any body have one yet?
« on: June 22, 2012, 04:01:00 PM »
I am on the list with Bill for one and I think it is coming up soon...I know of a couple of guys who have one already...

Wondering who else has one or has shot one that can chime in...what do ya think?

Please post pics if ya got em!

Thanks!!

I've had  three different Nitros, all built custom made to my specs.. Great bows...

Sorry, Tom put me up to this.

Jake, I tested one for a week and I liked it a lot!!! I still do not think it is as fast as Bill's Evo. recurve limb, but it is very, very fast for a longbow and it has that great longbow feel. I have not shot a Zipper yet that I did not like.

I shot one a bunch in Kzoo and am going down to visit Bill next week to have him fit some new limbs to my riser.  I'll likely end up shoot one again.  If I was buying a new zipper I would probably buy the nitro.  I love the feel of it and like every other zipper it flings an arrow with authority.

Great shooting bow !!! Haven't found anything I don't like about it. Pretty hard to beat anything built by Bill Dunn.  :notworthy:

Here's mine. Riser is Walnut with Cocobolo flare. Limbs are foam/carbon with black glass on bellies and Walnut tips.
