Anybody hunt bunnies with aluminum arrows in the lower static spines?  What tips do you use?

Not many choices for a 1516,I don't think they make inserts for them to accept screw-in points. All I put in some 1516 I made up for my neighbors daughter were some glue-in field points,I think they were 60 or 70 grs..

I use the PDP points for target points but was looking for a blunt?  Didn't want to reinvent the wheel but looks like I may have come up with an idea.

I haven't tired this, but if you could use a 16xx anything, you could probably slip some .25ACP empty shells over the tip.

I could send you a few empties if you want to try it.

Ron,
Thanks, but I found a good link which has a great suggestion, place and adder washer behind the point.  This will give it more impact and keep if from burying if you miss. Here is the link.

Will let you know how we do.....

You can always go to the hardware store and get robber boots for table legs(they come in small sizes) and they work like blunts.Or the nut and bolt, as long as the bolt fits the threads of the insert just add an over sized nut and screw it in.

Big Ed,
Did you mean finishing nail?  That seems like one of the best designs, might work for fishing too?

Is it difficult to drill through the points?
