Only tried the Das Dalaa.I bought it new.Its the 21 inch riser.I went with the foam core but they only lasted 2 weeks.bad set i guess. There was no problem at all getting a new set from 3 rivers.I went with the wood this time and got back some money back .I cant not tell the difference in the two.Since then i bought a used das riser and used limbs for half the price of new.If i was able to turn back the clock i would wait and find a used 21in riser and buy new limbs for it.Im sure that all that were mentioned are great risers. You will like what you pick. The riser is going to last for ever. The limbs are what break.Good luck

I really like the Excel riser.I got mine at a local Hoyt dealer at a really good price. I teamed it up with TT glass/wood limbs. For $320 I got a real sweet bow........Dave

I origanally called to order a ******** set up. But they didn't have any in stock and had no definitive stock date.
The person I spoke to there was less than inerrested in answering my questions or making a sale. Don't get me wrong he wasn't rude just not very helpful.

My next call was to three rivers to by a Das. The sales person was very helpful and really wanted my business.

I am very happy with my purchase, the Das is the best recurve that I've ever shot. If the ******** is that much better I'd love to try one.

I think they are all very close in looks and feel. I have owned the Titan and it was a great riser. I have settled on the DAS because of the limb attachment system.  For hunting purposes I think it has the edge .

I have a 21" Hoyt Excel and love it.  Got it with a set of long Kaya Tropics limbs used for 275.  Best purchase I've made so far.  i went ILF because it seems like no bowyer I've considered makes a 66" or longer recurve.

draw length can come into play on these choices.  keep in mind what your draw length is, and what your prefered bow length is.

you might want to give john a call or email at trad tech archery.  even if you don't buy from them, he'll point you in the right direction.

Rick, what is your draw length? Riser and limb length must be figured into the equation.

My first choice is the dalaa for the limb attachment system, limbs won't fall off when unstrung. Morisson would be my second choice and the sky is also very nice. Have not tried the titan.

Titan III hands down.

I have owned several ILF/DAS risers and have settled on a 17" TT Titan/or Dalaa and 21" DAS/Dalaa. I have found that I prefer the geometry of these risers. The others were good...didn't find a bad one but accuracy is best for me with the 2 mentioned above. The others I've used are TAC firefly, gen 2 morrison, 15" sky TDX. The Sky was nice but didn't like the smaller/shorter ILF pocket. the 3 rivers model may have corrected this with the DAS connection/plates. The newer gen3 Morrison appears to have the geometry I like but can't confirm as I haven't shot it.
