My wife and I both shoot the Stalker with static limbs.

I just got mine and I love it, smoothest draw you will ever experience. South is very easy to work with and will basically help you build the bow you are wanting not what he decides you should have.

MCS,
For me, it takes out the slight limb vibration. It helps to dampen the "buzz" after the shot. For most bows, including South's statics, it's really not necessary. I'm just an "over kill" kind of guy.
