He shot this one later the same day, or the next day, I forget now, at the same banana plantation.  This one was smaller but still a brute!

YOWZA...those are a couple of MULES for sure.

Where did he take them?  I wish it was close to me....

I'd love to chase something like those BRUTES around for a while trying to get a shot.  You know there are more of them out there, wherever he was, and BIGGER too.  Can you imagine running into one that's TWICE the size of that top one?  You'd better have a change of shorts for sure.

Thanks for posting those.

Hand forged Team Tippit heads work fine for me...250-300 grains.

Brutes for sure I'm jealous too!  John has the advantage of living in the bowhunters paradise otherwise known as Australia.   :archer2:

braveheart, I was curious and would like to know the story behind the "brain shot". what bow was he shooting? what were the specs? seems like it'd be a pretty tough shot to pull off. Also, did the hog go stiff and drop on spot?
Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and your bow and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me.- Genesis 27:3

I'm sorry it was John's buddy who shot it I don't know the particulars other than that it was an Aztec, but I reckon he didn't go very far!
