Ate my first elk roast two years ago sitting around Whip's campfire at Compton. After a few pieces I told 4Runr that I really did envy those out west and the ones who get to go out west !!! Elk is about the tastiest meat I have eaten to date with Antelope a close second. Ever eat one of RobTattoo's antelope burgers hot off the fire ??? MMMMM' Good !!! Still want to try some Moose and Caribou too.
