New Centaur and GR Real McCoy today!
« on: July 09, 2012, 10:06:00 AM »
Went over to the post office to mail out my MOAB that I traded and the clerk said to hold on. She came out with 2 packages for me.

I just unwrapped my new (to me) 58" 50@28 Centaur Carbon Elite AND my 58" 52@28 Granite Ridge Real McCoy. Only thing that sucks is that I'm at work and won't be home to shoot them until tomorrow evening. Man is it ever going to be a long 36hour shift.

First impression of the Centaur is WOW! What a beautiful bow and the low grip without finger grooves feels great. Second thing I noticed is just how light this bow is.

The Granite Ridge has more mass and it too feels good in the hand and is also a good looking bow.

I'll not be able to post shooting report until tomorrow evening on these 2 beauties. I might be able to snap a few phone pics and post them up today though.

Scott,

The riser on the Centaur is Bocote and palm swell is ziricote.  No mystery materials...

Wow Brad two at a time...

I mailed the bow from the Kenai, Alaska Post Office on Ssaturday at 10:15am.  Brad received it in Michigan on Monday!  Killie would be proud!  Here is a close up of the riser.

The plane must have caught that jet stream tail wind just right!!  I shipped a bow to a guy 150 miles north of me July 2-he got it July 7.  He mailed his to me on July 2, I got it July 5.  I guess his bow had a downhill run, while mine had to go uphill!!
