I'm on the list for a new Big Jim bow, and have been thinking about a wood combo that might look sorta strange, but I'm hoping that someone might have a bow with dalmation ebony and purple heart. There is a method to my madness; dalmation ebony comes from SE Asia, and the mixture of that and purple heart would have some meaning to me from a time when Uncle provided me with an all expenses paid trip to that part of the world, and I returned with a purple heart, among others.
Am I nuts to think that this combination might work, or should I stick with my original choice of western juniper, which is indicative of the west and where I choose to live?
If anyone has a bow with the ebony/purple heart combo, I would love to see one.
