« on: July 09, 2012, 06:45:00 PM »
I have a great northern 62" bushbow that is approximately 50 lbs at my draw length... here's my question...what length carbon express heritage 250 shaft do you think would fly right with a 250 grain broadhead/ field pt ? Thanks in advance all you "arrow experts"

What is your draw length? Believe it or not this makes a huge difference in the spine you will need.

full length and it still will probably be stiff, with your set up. 150's might be stiff also the CE90's might be the ticket but you might have to back off the point weight ???

32" should be fine. I have a similar setup on one of mine. They come 33" so just to be safe start from there.

A 150 would be in the 29" range. less gpi. if that matters. They are both above 11gpp though

I would start with full length,  but I believe it will still be on the stiff side. 150's are probably a better match.

Yeah agree with others, unless you have a real long draw length I think the 250's will be too stiff for you. That is unless you just want a really long arrow for the weight. When I first tried out the CE's I ordered a test kit. I would highly recommend it.
