My Bitzenburger is Sticking??
« on: August 04, 2007, 04:59:00 PM »
Alright, I have been having Problems with my Fletcher sticking ( I Know a Personal Problem ). I have it set for standard 3 fletch, I start out with the Cock feather and move to the First hen , it is when I move from the Hen #1 to #2 that the knob will not turn and I must jiggle , krank on it  and cuss to get it to move. It does not do it all the time, either. I have checked all the Adjustment Allen Screws to make sure none are to tight or loose , or tightened when they should not be,i.e. for 4 fletch etc. Can I lube it ?? anyone else had this Problem?? Thanks for the Help...Tu Compadre, Suty

You could take the indexor out and look at it. Maybe the little ball bearing needs replaced.
If it's in your way, move it.

If it is just one position that you are having a problem with it may be just a burr or a little rust on the indent. A file or piece of sand paper should cure it.
The size of the horns don,t matter
as long as it has a good tale.

Mine was sticking as well.I took the screw out of the side and sprayed some WD-40 in it and it is really smooth now.

Got to be a burr or something.
