My 2012 setup, thanks to Snag and Leon Stewart
« on: July 13, 2012, 05:57:00 PM »
I just finished up a great set of Surewood shafts I got from Snag. Let me just say that David is a terrific guy to deal with and these shafts are top notch. Also Im really falling in love with my Stewart slammer, she is 68" 60lbs @ 30" and really drives an arrow. I just weighed these arrows and finished up with 160gr. points they are coming in at 730gr. Just as a side note, the first two arrows I weighed were exactly 732 each. Hows that for weight matched woodies! I am a happy camper with this set up, you cant go wrong with either sponsor. As a side note, the shafts are 11/32 75-80 spine and my slammer has a Bacote riser and creme etimo back and belley with maple cores. She is quiet, my wife will read while i practice in the eaving and says all she can hear is the feathers hissing. I LIKE IT!
