Kempf website?
« on: July 17, 2012, 01:33:00 AM »
Seeing lots of stuff on the Kwyk Styk, but can't find a website to look at.  Am I just missing it?  Would like some info on these bows.

There isn't one. At 80 yrs. old I'd say he's fortunate to be answering e-mails. I PM'd ya.
He is about a year and a half behind now. I just got my new bow and it took 21 months. And I'm a friend of his!!
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

That's probably why he's still in pretty good shape for his age. He keeps busy.
Jerry, I agree about the diaper part. Yikes! Oh and his wife's name is Pearl.

No Website but I've got a 58" 3pc Raven longbow with a Wenge riser and Bamboo limbs stained to match coming in less then a week. The bow also comes with horn limb tips, thumbrest and arrowhead inlay. This bow is going to gorgeous. I can't remember how long ago I got on the list but a surprise phone call from Jack letting me know he was ready to start my bow gave me that getting ready for Christmas feeling.

I've been interested in the Kwyk Styk since I saw Skylar's and Guru's at Solana.  I think I'm ready to take the plunge, but want to get some info so I know what's available.

The Guru grip is the grip that Jack started doing for Curt Cabrarea (sp)  and people started asking for it on the kempf bows.   Its a pistol grip low wrist with a little palm swell.

That's what I thought.  Just wanted to confirm.  Would love a chance to feel one. Curt's is a lefty so doesn't do me much good.
